Parish Hall and Meeting Room Hire

The Parish Hall and Meeting Room are both available to book individually or together.

The Parish Hall is located in Lower Street, Harnham, SP2 8EY. It has a large car park for 24 cars and is directly opposite the bus stop for the r5 regular service from the centre of Salisbury. The Hall is a short picturesque walk across the Harnham Water Meadows from Salisbury Railway Station. All the sevens taxi service is a near neighbour as well as the largest taxi service in Salisbury.

The Hall

The hall has an impressive barrel roof and is ideal for family gatherings, parties and fundraisers. Used by a variety of local groups for activities ranging from Arts & Craft to Music for the Mind to Table Tennis. The hall was extensively refurbished in 2022/23 and redecorated in 2024.

Maximum numbers for the hall when used for functions:
Utilising tables and chairs 100
Standing audience 150
Close seated audience 100

Hire costs depends on type of function and time of week. Hire fees range from £26 per hour on weekdays to £30 per hour at weekends. Discounts are available for regular users and charities.

The Meeting Room

The meeting room is ideal for smaller groups to learn a new skill or to hold meetings. There is access to the kitchen from this room and toilet facilities are available through the main hall door. The recently refurbished room is fresh and welcoming.

Maximum number in Meeting room is 40, however we find a comfortable maximum is 25 if seated at tables.

Hire for this room is:
General use £8 per hour
Business use £12 per hour

Chargeable extras available for :
Use of field, hire of projector and screen, flip charts, PA system with Bluetooth link, water boiler, setting up and storage of equipment and materials for regular users.
